This is a cover of a track by NoCanDo & BusDriver (Cali Hip-Hop) Shouts to my homie Preacher Vs. Choir out in Cali for hippin me to this track. I recorded this on Two Tracks of a 4-Track Tascam with a Boss ME-50 Guitar Pedal for my Vox after memorizing this verse just by hearing it a few times, I threw on a loop from an old Pizza Boys (Twin Cities, early 2000's) CD that I'm betting Doug Surreal (Cutty Dubs, Bay Area, Now) ripped off some old rock and or roll record.
NoCanDo & BusDriver's version is objectively "better" and also "OG", so read beyond all that and bask in a world where a Rooster in St. Louis can hear some Cali shit and like it so much he just records it on his day off from bein a fuckin dishwasher.

These somehow aren't on "the internet". I never read them or confirmed 'em. Oh well, here's what i thought Jimmy the Lock said, Busdriver prolly wrote the chorus, and also has my favorite line in the whole song on his verse, "I'm Allen Ginsberg set to Bitches Brew" - real Hip-Hop shit:
